The First Ski Lesson

Above is pictured the next generation of Olympic skiers. In there first ever lesson. Hang on to this picture folks, it could be worth alot of money one day. Taylor tired out but had a blast and Ms. Sarah could have stayed all day and desperately wanted to go up the chair lift. Maybe after a couple more lessons we will go ski on a mountain instead of a large hill.

The computer has risen!

At last, I am back. My computer crashed and it has taken a month to fix. Corrupt memory or some such nonesense. So they reformatted it and of course I lost my instant access to the blogs (not to mention a bunch of other stuff). It has only taken me a week to figure out my user id and password for this site. So I may be able to update in the near future again. But HOORAY~~ I figured it out finally.

The War Begins.

Pictured above is Happy Herman the Hampster. Images of "Lizbo" must be removed and a formal apology must be issued by midnight Jan 30 if the Hamster New World Order would like the member returned safely.

The Maya had the good life!

I want to move to Mexico.
I want to move to Mexico.
I really want to move to Mexico.

What a let down coming home. It's great to see the kids but instantly back in routine is a shock to the system. I'm covered in a thin layer of white as my skin has been subjected to the harsh dry Alberta climate. Humidity is a good thing.

The French should stay home.

Well, we were welcomed back by snow but had a fantastic holiday. I would recommend the Mayan Riviera to anyone. Weather was fabulous, staff friendly, and food was fantastic. Everything was perfect except the French.
I have never met such an arrogant, ignorant, and pushy bunch of people. They literally have no manners at all. Does the world revolve around them?!? They butted into lines, were rude to everyone that didn't speak french...... I could go on and on. They were worse than any American's that I have ever encountered. They shouldn't be allowed out of their country.

At any rate, we played a couple rounds of golf, snorkelled, toured the ruins and relaxed by the pool. The Mexicans pick pocketed us and scammed us on our souvenirs but nothing that was too serious. I would also recommend the RIU hotel chain. They were fabulous.
I'd love to say that it's great to be home but another week would have been nice.

Which one is better?

Christmas was fantastic. A slight disagreement arose regarding which of the toques looks better on Dan. I for one think that the Blue is better. Perhaps we can take a poll to help Dan out. (I think he prefers the White)
Wishing you all a New Year.

Golf Lesson

I took a golf lesson on Saturday. Chuck always goes by himself and he really wants me to golf this year. All the instructor kept yelling was "STICK OUT YOUR BUM, MORE, MORE, MORE". As silly as it sounds and as stupid as it looks, I did manage to hit the ball several times without missing. We will have to see how I do. I imagine after a few drinks I'll play much better. So to all you golfers out there, STICK OUT YOUR BUTT. I did manage to buy myself some really expensive golf shoes though. Perhaps I should splurge on some outfits to go with the shoes. Aside from that, not much is happening around here that isn't related to Christmas.
